This quiz tests your knowledge of the major Interstate Highways in the contiguous United States.
With 18 questions, this quiz seems more difficult than it is.
There is a system behind the numbering of the Interstate Highways.
Fist of all the primary Interstates have one or two digits. The longest and most important ones have numbers that can be divided by five.
Furthermore even road numbers go from east to west (e.g. I-80 from New Jersey to California) and are increasing from south to north.
Odd numbers go from north to south and are increasing from west to east (e.g. I-95 from Maine to Florida).
Still there are quite a few exceptions when looking at all Interstate Highways in the USA.
Interestingly, there are two I-84 in the United States.
The one that runs from Oregon to Utah is part of this quiz. But there is also one going from Pennsylvania to Massachusetts.
