This quiz is about the administrative districts of
Israel, the region of
Palestine and some separate areas. A total of 11 questions.
Geopolitically, the region of Israel and Palestine is infinitely complex - with many overlapping territorial claims. This quiz is only intended to be a small guide to some of the areas.
Queried are the 6 districts of Israel. Israel considers the Golan Heights to be part of the Northern District. The Golan Heights are queried separately here. East Jerusalem is also a separate question. With regard to Palestine, the areas of the West Bank and Gaza Strip are queried. However, the
governorates of Palestine are not part of this quiz. The West Bank is called
Judea and Samaria in Israel. The UNDOF Zone (
United Nations Disengagement Observer Force) is also part of the quiz. The area is located within the Golan Heights and is monitored by an international contingent of troops as part of a United Nations peacekeeping mission.
