England is divided into 48 administrative regions called ceremonial counties. In this quiz, 47 of these regions are covered. The only one omitted is the city of London, which is also a ceremonial county. It is a small area in the middle of the Greater London region.
With so many questions, this is a very challenging quiz. Many of the counties have familiar names, such as Somerset, Cornwall or Worcestershire. If you are interested in England or its history, you don't want to miss this quiz.
